Kinpira Gobo



3 Burdock root
3 Carrots
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Sake
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame oil
*Optional add red pepper for a kick

1. Peel the carrots and burdock, then slice them using the rolling method.
2. Heat the pan then add sesame oil.
3. Stir fry the carrots and burdock in the sesame oil so it is evenly coated.
4. Add sugar, soy sauce, and sake then stir.
5. Cover and stir occasionally to cook evenly until soft.
6. Cook for 2-3 mins then serve.
